Priscilla Coleman Jenkins is a retired music educator, singer, composer, bible teacher, YouTuber and author. Her life is a great expression of God's love through Jesus Christ.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Howard University and a Master's of Secondary Education from Bowie State University.
Priscilla has studied the Bible through educational center courses, online teachings and bible based books for over 40 years and continues today. "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be a ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
Outreach has been Priscilla's focus for over 30 years. She has ministered in song and scriptural prayers in nursing homes, hospice hospitals, homeless camping sites, shelters and to disadvantaged youth while providing food, clothing and toiletries.
Her late husband Pastor Elder Dr. James N. Jenkins, Jr. and she co founded Compassion of Christ Church DC. They partnered with ministries and churches to do Outreach in Washington, D.C. She assisted the ministry by co teaching Bible Study on Saturdays and Sundays with songs, scriptural prayers and teaching the word on their YouTube channel until his passing February 2023. @compassionofchristchurchdc
Priscilla's book, "An Overcomers' Journey From the Effects of Abuse Through Scriptural Prayers" was published in 2015. It is her autobiography of how God's word is the key to freedom and transformation from the effects of abuse and eating disorders. This book has 36 topics with over 500 scriptures written out for the reader to create scriptural prayers.
Her book, "Freedom from Bondage: From Never Feeling Hunger to Abundance" was also published in 2015. It is about the eating disorder and has specific scriptural prayers for deliverance.
Priscilla's book, "Compassionate Outreach: A Journey from Crime to Ministry- The Legacy of Dr. James Napolean Jenkins, Jr. her late husband's biography was published in September 2023. It is a fulfillment of his desire to write a book about his changed life through Jesus Christ and how he helped others to do the same. It includes the names of social service organizations James networked with in the Washington, D.C. area.
Her book, "Escape from 623 Biography of "Queen"Esther Mary Coleman: A Life of Great Faith" is about her late sister. It was published September 2024. "Queen" Esther was a woman that persevered through abuse, tragedy and a terminal diagnosis believing God for deliverance despite the circumstances. This book shares scriptures and samples of Esther's outstanding artwork.
